Canarderie de la ronde

With its experience, the Canarderie de la Ronde masters the genetics of its bird population, a COMMITMENT that it defends.

La Canarderie de la Ronde was the first entity to jointly develop with ITAVI (Technical Institute of Poultry Sectors) the health quality charter for hatcheries. Very quickly, others will join it.

Always with a view to improvement, it joins other poultry hatcheries by adhering to the COHS (Official Hygiene and Sanitation Control). This RECOGNITION will lead to more regular health checks.

Promptly, to have its production recognized, it will draw up its GBPE (Guide to Good Breeding Practices) allowing the health administration to better understand, learn but also control its production of such atypical birds.

The first guide was developed and written by mutual agreement with employees in 2014. Subsequently, a new version of this guide will arrive in 2023, incorporating new elements.

“Doing it well and making it known”

To finalize its CV, it will adhere to the request of the veterinary services, to the Biosecurity regulations and will reorganize its facilities according to this Biosecurity plan.

All new technologies serving traditions constantly amplify and improve the objectives set. The operating methods of the farm are constantly being challenged with a single goal in mind: quality.

In conclusion, the Canarderie de la Ronde is an entity concerned about the quality of its mallards, their well-being but above all, continuous progress. It is by adhering to the Health Quality Charter for Hatchers, by obtaining COHS recognition, by drafting the GBPE and by redeveloping the facilities according to the Biosecurity plan that the Canarderie asserts itself in a more respectful approach for its mallards and their environment.
